Domestic Violence Programs

Health Equates Love and Power (HELP)

Working to stop the cycle of violence through the ISAT HELP Program

The HELP Program was designed to assist individuals and families in dealing with the problem of domestic violence.   The premise of the HELP Program is that love and power must be experienced equally for a relationship to be healthy.  The goals of the ISAT HELP program are to develop an understanding that violence is never justified; that abusiveness is a learned behavior and a maladaptive attempt to affect change in a relationship.  Individual and group therapy are offered to clients, as well as family therapy when appropriate.  ISAT provides specialized therapy services to victims, children, and offenders, with goals which are individualized to their unique experience.  Assessments and detailed treatment plans are completed for each client receiving services.
